HUMP! Film Spotlight: Mine
Showing as part of the Spring 2026 season
Meet Wholesomedeviant and Freerangemeat, stars of the Spring 2026 film Mine. They sat down to talk kinky love stories and assless chaps, and what the name and theme of their film ultimately means to them both.
What do you hope audiences feel first watching your film?
Freerangemeat: I hope that what people get from it …it's a love story.
Wholesomedeviant: Yeah.
Freerangemeat: So, I hope they see that. It's not a traditional love story but…
Wholesomedeviant: The name of this film is pretty important to us. When we first met, you asked me what I wanted of you, and I said I want to make you mine.
Hence, the branding and the name. It's about claiming you as my own.
Freerangemeat: And I enthusiastically consented.
Wholesomedeviant: Yeah, how delightful.
What made you want to submit this film to HUMP!?
Freerangemeat: We had previously shot some content for a human ashtray video, at which point I learned that I love when they permanently mark me.
Wholesomedeviant: *laughs*
Freerangemeat: So that was kind of the inspiration for the branding aspect of it.
Wholesomedeviant: You told me that it was always your dream to be in the HUMP! Film Festival, so we decided if we're gonna do something so epic, like permanently branding you, that we should make that into a film.
Freerangemeat: That [branding] was what inspired the rest of it.
Wholesomedeviant: We love a western.
Freerangemeat: And any opportunity to wear assless chaps.
Wholesomedeviant: Oh yeah, definitely, the assless chaps were definitely top of the list.
If your film ties directly into a specific community, how did you find that community?
Freerangemeat: I'm newer to the kink community, and in hindsight, it's kinda always been in me, but I really found my way here because the algorithm did me dirty, the algorithm found me, and pushed it.
Wholesomedeviant: Yeah, you gotta be careful what social media feeds you. You never know which way you're gonna be swayed.
Freerangemeat: Yep, next thing you know, you're tied up in a barn getting branded like cattle.
Wholesomedeviant: Could happen to anyone.
Freerangemeat: Watch out!
You can watch Mine now in theaters during the HUMP! 2026 Spring Season tour, or stream it online!
